About the Foundation
St. Francis Medical Center Foundation is the fundraising component of the Medical Center. The Foundation is a separate 501(c)3 governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of local community leaders, business leaders and religious leaders who value the Medical Center’s commitment to being a transforming healing presence in the community.
While the Medical Center was founded in 1874, the Foundation was established in 1992 and actively supports the Medical Center with:
Several Opportunities for Giving including the Legacy Program as a part of the Heritage Society of St. Francis, Corporate Sponsorship of Events, and Donations.
The Foundation hosts three fund raising activities a year: The Annual Spring Gala, The Annual Golf and Tennis Outing, and The Annual Casino Night (sponsored by the Community Fund Raising Council).
