1/14/2016
The St. Francis Medical Center Chapel was filled with the sound of young student's voices as the Trenton Catholic Academy choir joined with the community to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King on Tuesday, January 12th. The service was officiated by Russ Hansel, Executive Director of Mission and Ministry at St. Francis Medical Center and featured guest preacher Reverend Keith A. The Trenton Catholic Academy choir, directed by Susan King, sang several well- known selections for the congregation such as “My Life is in Your Hands” and “We Shall Overcome."  The service featured reading excerpts from Dr. Martin Luther King's speeches throughout his life with a personal reflection on the meaning of the passage by members of our faith community and students from Trenton Catholic Academy. “Worship is about word and song and we certainly had both here today!” said Executive Director of Mission and Ministry at St. Francis Medical Center, Russ Hansel.
