St. Francis Medical Center Celebrates Mass to Commemorate Feast of St. Clare

Reception following Mass honors Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia

TRENTON, NJ—St. Francis Medical Center recently welcomed the community to a Mass in its hospital chapel to commemorate the Feast of St. Clare. St. Clare, known for being one of the first followers of St. Francis of Assisi, was generous to the poor and opted to live a life of piety. Fr. Carmen Carlone, Pastoral Care at St. Francis, celebrated Mass.

The Sisters are members of the order of nuns who founded St. Francis Medical Center. The reception was hosted by St. Francis Medical Center President Dan Moen and Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer C. James Romano, MD. The sisters also toured areas of the medical center and visited with staff.
