St. Francis Medical Center Supports Organ and Tissue Donation at the Rose Parade

On January 1st St. Francis Medical Center will stand united with thousands of other hospitals across the nation in their support of organ and tissue donation. Christy Stephenson, Interim CEO and President of St. Francis Medical Center, has spoken on behalf of our healthcare team to thank families and individuals that give the ultimate gift of life to save others.
This handwritten message will be carried through the streets of Pasadena, CA at the Tournament of Roses Parade, an event watched annually by 40 million viewers. This year's Donate Life Float, themed "Light Up the World" will hold our special message that demonstrates St. Francis Medical Center's continued dedication to organ and tissue donation awareness, and honors the generosity of families that give the gift of life. Many NJ donor families and recipients will be represented on the float showing NJ’s commitment to donation awareness.
