The founders of the Brighton Corporation, have a deep commitment to empowering families through supporting the health of women and generously support a variety of charities including the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Brighton has donated nearly $7,000,000 to date and will continue in an effort to leave this world a better place than we found it. “When we were contacted by our local Brighton store in the Mall, we were thrilled that they wanted to make us the benefactor of their Breast Cancer events,” said Norma Monaghan, Sr. Vice President Development at St. Francis Medical Center and President & CEO of the SFMC Foundation.
St. Francis Medical Center’s “Are You At Risk” Cancer Program is the result of a continuing partnership with Susan G. Komen since April 2008. This partnership has resulted in community based education for 750 and mammography for 1050 Trenton women who would otherwise not have access to these services. The program's two goals are to promote breast health awareness to medically underserved and minority women in the Greater Trenton community and to provide screening mammography to medically underserved and minority women in the Greater Trenton community.
